The world’s best wingers battled nuking conditions to kick off the FreeFly-Slalom season at the Gran Canaria GWA Wingfoil World Cup.
Current World No. 1 @niasuardiaz maintained her consistency to extend her lead in the rankings and successfully defend her world title. On the men’s side, Italy’s @fracapp333 fought his way back to the top step of the podium after an unforgettable Super Final. Defending World Champion @bastien_escofet delivered a clutch performance to secure second place, while @tompansard_carro turned heads by claiming the first bullet of the event. Unfortunately, his campaign came to an early end after a crash forced him to retire from the competition, finishing third overall.

With two thrilling days of FreeFly-Slalom now complete and new winners crowned, it’s time for the Surf-Freestyle discipline to take centre stage.
