Silvaplana Registration is Now Open!

It is a pleasure to announce the first official GWA Wingfoil Race Class Continental Championship event

which will be the Engadinwind 2021 held in beautiful Silvaplana, Switzerland.

The dates will be from the 13th of August to the 15th of August 2021.

This is a GWA Wingfoil Race Class Continental Championship and the competition is sanctioned and governed by the 2021 GWA Wingfoil World Tour Rulebook.

Our next event is live! This will be the first Open GWA Wingfoil Race European Championship of the GWA Wingfoil Race Class. This means that the only official discipline of the event is Wingfoil Racing. Surf-Freestyle is planned to run as a show format in an expression session.

The Wingfoil Race results of this event will crown the GWA European Champion in the GWA Race Class discipline, but will not count towards the Overall World Ranking. There will be European Champions crowned in 3 categories: Youth (Under 19), Pro (all ages), Masters (40+).

The competition is open to anyone and has no limitation on the number of participants. As it’s an open European Championship, also non-European riders are allowed to compete and will be able to win the event, but the European Champion title (Youth, Pro, Masters) can only be given to the best athlete with a European passport.

The registration for the event is open now and will close on August 6th.
