Good morning from Sotavento and welcome to Day 2 of the GWA Wingfoil World Cup Fuerteventura!
The riders briefing is complete, and we’re getting ready for another full day of Surf-Freestyle action. Yesterday saw the competition reach the quarter-finals, and today the battle continues as the riders fight for a place in the finals.

Day 1 of the GWA Wingfoil World Cup Fuerteventura got underway with rider registration, followed by the Opening Ceremony.
After the first riders briefing of the event, the action hit the water with the opening round of the men’s division. The riders looked focused and played it safe in the first heats of the day. As the competition progressed, the scores climbed and the action really came to life, setting the stage for another exciting start to the final event of the season.

We reached the men’s and women’s quarter-finals. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s schedule!
